This is where I get to ramble when I feel like it. Kind of like a blog, but it's not a blog. This is a blog. ;-).

Trio Motors sample app download

Monday, July 25, 2005 10:01:52 PM

I blogged about the Trio Motors article at the Macromedia Developer Center a while back, but this week the application was released on Nahuel Foronda's blog. The article series never got past the first article, but was a nice implementation of the ActionScript 2 components.

New blog at Community MX

Thursday, August 12, 2004 6:52:24 PM

Community MX launched its blog today at http://www.communitymx.com/blog. I'm spread blog-thin now with this blog, my general site blog at http://www.tom-muck.com/blog, and now the Community MX blog. At CMX we have at any given time 20-30 partners contributing on various topics. The blog will be a good resource, allowing some of the experts at CMX a chance to write without the constraints of a tutorial.

Clippets panel for Flash

Monday, July 19, 2004 5:54:40 PM

Flash MX 2004 is not the greatest ActionScript editor out there, but there are some people out there trying to improve it. Daniele Ugoletti is working on a Snippets panel for Flash MX 2004, but in the meantime he has created the Clippets extension. Clippets are like snippets, but they exist in the clipboard. In other words, you can copy some code into the clipboard and make a clippet out of the code. You can then access the code at any time from the panel to insert into your ActionScript code. You can download Clippets from Daniele's blog: http://www.ugoletti.com/blog/archives/2004/07/17/clippets-new-flash-extension/
